Bionics Queensland Challenge 2020 - Open now with entries closing May 29th
Bionics Queensland Challenge 2020 (Australia’s first-ever bionics challenge) is set to identify, celebrate and fast-track ‘stand-out’ innovators, researchers and everyday people working on life changing bionic healthcare innovations. A highly attractive competition for Queensland’s ‘best and brightest’, winners will share in a total $165,000 in major prizes and awards with a Mentoring and Acceleration Program also helping them to progress their work.
In 2020 and beyond, we hope to see a line-up of new bionics ideas and innovations push through to product development, clinical trials and in turn, market ready solutions. The Challenge will focus on inventing and improving bionic devices and treatments across the senses; innovations in bionic mobility; and, ‘next gen’ applications in neural and AI-enabled bionic devices. Our Challenge will cast a wide net to ensure we capture and support amazing ideas and innovations across the length and breadth of Queensland.
