Australia’s first ever Bionics Challenge

It’s time to work ‘head-to-head’ with others to jumpstart that new bionic discovery, fast track your innovation and transform lives…perhaps the life of someone you already know.

Bionics Queensland Challenge 2020 will help to make ‘the improbable possible’ for millions of people living with disabilities and untreatable health conditions around the world.

Bionics Queensland Challenge 2020 delivered in partnership with Advance Queensland will award $150,000 to winners (3 x $50,000 major prizes) plus three $5,000 Early Stage Bionic Innovation Awards. This is a golden opportunity to fast track your great idea or project.

We’re inviting Queensland’s ‘best and brightest’ from all regions and all walks of life to help redefine what it means to live with a disability or chronic disease. In 2020, our Challenge is deliberately broad. We want you to ‘think big and small’…get to know and understand how far bionic innovations have already come….understand what has worked, what is still needed and how you could deliver a new or important piece of a bigger puzzle. And we’ll provide you with expert mentoring to help you develop a winning idea.
